FLIPPEN ELEMENTARY'S CONTINUOUS SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

 

Purpose Statement: When teachers differentiate instruction in small groups and build student agency according to student's individual needs, they improve reading proficiency to impact learning outcomes and increase students' interests and engagement in reading widely.

 

CSIP Goals

                                   

Goal #1: During the school year 24-25, increase the percentage of 1st-grade students reading on or above grade level from 55% to 60%, as measured by Amira.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Goal #2: During the school year, 24-25, increase the percentage of 3rd-grade students reading on or above grade level from 53% to 60% as measured by Spring 2025 GMAS                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Goal #3: During the 2024-25 school year, increase reading proficiencies of students in grades 3 and 5, reading above grade levels to 67%.
