Principal's Welcome

Greetings, Flippen Elementary Community

 

I am honored and humbled to serve as Flippen Elementary School, school principal and lead alongside talented professional educators. I am committed to focusing on learning for every student. One of my goals is to engage with our learning community and contribute to a successful school year in every way possible.

 

This is my 26th year in education. I arrived at the Flippen community with 14 years of teaching profession in Boston, MA, and Atlanta, GA. in elementary and middle schools. On July 16, 2014, another proud moment occurred. I became an Assistant Principal in Fulton County Schools and Henry County Schools. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance, a master’s degree in education, and a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

 

My mission continues. Here at Flippen, I will work collaboratively to ensure our students thrive as 21st- century learners as they explore real-world problems, use their voices to impact others positively and engage in meaningful learning. We hold the highest standards in our students while also providing a safe and nurturing environment. In partnership with you, we know our scholar’s trajectory will be college and career ready as they grow academically and socially at Flippen.
