Stories & Highlights

Flippen Excellence

Flippen Elementary School is "In Pursuit of Exceptional," taking action to advance opportunities, access, and outcomes in pursuit of ambitious goals for our students, staff, and community.

We’ve experienced growth in performance in 5 out of the 7 indicators on the Spring 2024 Georgia Milestones.

We provide a variety of learning opportunities for students: BETA, PBIS Ambassadors, Cheer, STEM, Music, Chorus, Student Monitors, Picture and Helen Ruffin Reading Bowls, and Student Safety Council.

We are proud of the community partners from Eagles Landing First Baptist Church, Kroger, and Publix and look forward to more joining us.

We believe family and community are essential to our growth: Open House, Parents Data & Donuts, Trunk-or-Treat, Family Thanksgiving Dinner, Flippen Ball, Multi-Cultural Celebrations, Student-of-the-Month, and Awards Ceremonies.

We aim to continue improving student attendance; currently, 84% of students attend school 90% or better monthly.

We are a small neighborhood school that values all cultures and considers our diversity our strength.
